CargoX Monthly Review - January

Feb. 5, 2019, 2:10 p.m.

CargoX just turned a year old, huzzah! That might be a blink of an eye in human terms, but as a company we are wise beyond our years. Let’s take a moment to reflect upon our major accomplishments in this short year, and see how we shook the crypto scene from the bottom up.

We have executed our roadmap as promised: we released the B/L eXchange protocol (our CargoX platform smart contracts), we developed the CargoX platform (the Smart B/L dApp), we acquired our first partners, who even became our customers by Q4 2018, and we started working on the add-on features with banks and insurers - due in 2019!

What we did exactly:

So, what are the next steps? Business development is ongoing, and we are one step away from becoming the first company in history with blockchain B/L solution approved by a global P&I insurers club, so that our customers can start using our solution for their operations with valid business insurance, and we can then progress in our development of the Smart L/C as planned. Then, we will make our next strategic step - into the air cargo industry!

We are also working on some cool moves for major global logistics events, and we will also be presenting our platform and technology at major technology showcase events, such as the top-tier SXSW Accelerator Pitch 2019 in Austin, Texas, to be held in March 2019.

In January we partnered with RoadLaunch, an IoT- (internet-of-things) blockchain-based digital freight management platform for intelligent logistics. This collaboration will extend their permission-based Hyperledger solution with the function of our public blockchain-based Smart Bill of Lading™. They have thousands of users already on-boarded!

At the end, when we look back at January - we were too busy to even blow out the candles on the cake, as we are in constant motion, taking the CargoX platform into new waters and new heights with added functionalities and promising business partnerships!
