ADVANCE CARGO INFORMATION (ACI) EGYPT
Since 1 October 2021, electronic ACI filing has been mandatory for all exporters to Egypt. Once the exporter is registered and has their account verified on the CargoX Platform, the Egyptian importer needs to register their import shipment and request an ACID number on the Egyptian customs platform (NAFEZA).
Filing ACI is an easy 4 step process. It involves a valid ACID number that allows customs to match the ACI documents belonging to the right incoming shipment.
IMPORTANT: ACI filling on the CargoX Platform is only available to fully verified companies, as required by Egyptian customs/NAFEZA.
