CargoX joins BIMCO to advance eBL adoption

(Ljubljana, Slovenia, June 17 2024) - CargoX, the provider of the CargoX Platform for Blockchain Document Transfer (BDT), serving more than 125,000 companies worldwide, has become a member of The Baltic and International Maritime Council, one of the largest international shipping associations representing shipowners.

CargoX offers robust tools for creating and transferring BIMCO and other standardised electronic bills of lading (eBL) on the CargoX Platform, leveraging a public digital ledger to ensure transfer transparency, document validity and security. The platform has facilitated the creation of more than 7 million electronic trade documents, demonstrating exceptional reliability and ease of use.
